 The new Alaris S2000 Series improves productivity by automating much of the work typically done by users and the computers operating the scanner. Image processing built into the scanner delivers sharp images without the need for a powerful (or expensive) host computer. Innovative Active Feed technology prevents double-feed errors and paper jams, it also controls stacking of output documents to place paper neatly in the output tray. Users therefore save time setting up documents at the input but also at the output of scanning thanks to well-ordered stacks of documents.
 Features
 The Alaris S2080W is a USB, LAN or WiFi connected model that offers a scanning speed of 80 pages per minute (ppm). The scanner is compact, powerful and easy to use with a reliable feed system that efficiently handles a wide variety of documents.
 Three optional flatbed glass panes can be integrated into scanners for added versatility and productivity. For example, the S2000 series is designed to “accommodate” the new Alaris Passport flatbed scanning accessory, providing a quick and easy solution for scanning passports, ID cards and other fragile small format documents. Thanks to its network connectivity and Multi-User mode, this wireless / network scanner allows the scanned document to be sent directly to the PC using Input Express Limited Edition, thus you can log in to the scanner and access your records.
 Performances
 The Alaris S2080W is capable of handling an average of up to 8,000 pages per day, due to its scanning speed of 80 ppm and its feeder with a capacity of 80 A4 sheets. To ensure optimal paper capture, the Alaris S2080W is equipped with an ultrasonic dual feed sensor and a document alignment system before scanning.
